For 16 Days of Activism for non violence against women, Women of Africa Unite this December
In Cape Town, women joined hands to claim: enough is enough”. Globally women were united in prayer to plea for God to intervene in atrocities being directed against women of Africa.

UNITY
United women of Africa shall stand! Despite the xenophobia attacks that threatened the forum, women leaders gathered in Cape Town defeating that evil of division and showed great spirit of friendship, sisterhood, partnership, tolerance in doing business. The “Ubuntu Spirit” prevailed.
AWARDS
The leading Women of Africa Awards at the closing ceremony Gala dinner at Moyo was dedicated to recognizing the contributions of women in the development of Africa in the face of various challenges faced by the continent. Gala dinner sponsored by SAWEN and the Department of trade and industry (Dti) showed a great partnership between Government and Leading Women of Africa.
